About · Glorics
Twenty-five years of shipping the web.
Digital strategy and production. Not an agency. Glorics is my lab: what I recommend, I have usually already run. Finance terminals in the nineties. Shopping centres across Europe. Ubisoft, since 2020. The Ahrefs blog. A ring in Bethnal Green. Linux in the evening. London / Corsica. You speak to me.
The person who answers
I set the work and I ship it.
Manuel Casalta-Petitjean. London / Corsica. Trained at McCann Erickson France. Eight years on Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield’s web across seven countries. Search reputation and digital strategy at Ubisoft, 2020 → now. I write for the Ahrefs blog. I also start brands. Three of them run. Dentalog is the one I operate. I box in London. Evenings I work on Linux because I like machines I can open. I run this lab. There is no account team between you and the work.

Glorics and Dentalog
Glorics Ltd · London
Digital strategy and production. A lab, not an agency. I also start brands. Three of them run. Dentalog is a subsidiary I operate, a dental media brand. Methods I use on a mandate are applied there first. France is live. The United States is the current build. I still run both.

Contributing author, Ahrefs
Ahrefs · Contract
In-depth articles for the Ahrefs blog: a study on how often AI assistants hallucinate links (16 million URLs analysed), agentic commerce (ManoMano), and why being cited by AIs will matter more than your ad budget (Indy). I still write. Ahrefs is a tool I genuinely love. Everything I publish there has to survive an expert readership.

Search reputation and digital strategy, Ubisoft
Ubisoft · Contract
Search reputation and digital strategy. A long mandate on how the brand is found and spoken. I still work with them.
04 · 2015 – 2021
Managing director, WCB
White Collar Boxing · Part-time · London
Founded and ran one of the UK's leading white-collar charity boxing promotions. Grassroots Lightsout events grew into a championship series: 11 events, including York Hall in Bethnal Green (800 attendees, the cathedral of British boxing) and Porchester Hall in Notting Hill. Tens of thousands of pounds for charities including Children with Cancer. Running a boxing promotion is running a business where the product is live, sold out, and cannot slip its deadline. It is also why I still train in English boxing.

Web strategy and production Europe, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield · Contract · London
Eight years on the web across seven countries. Sites, applications, data feeds. Shopping-centre presence in France, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Sweden and Denmark. Scale teaches things a single property never will. When uptime affects the Saturday footfall of a hundred destinations, “it works on my machine” stops being a sentence you say.

Web consultant, Pernod Ricard
Pernod Ricard · Contract
Complete redesign of product web presence: dedicated microsites for individual brands across spirits. An early bet on search, at a time when organic traffic was just becoming a channel for consumer brands and most agencies still treated it as an afterthought.
07 · 2001 – 2004
Digital project lead, McCann
McCann Erickson · Full-time · Levallois-Perret
Recruited to run the Gaz de France account, then the French Nuclear Safety Authority. McCann trained me on pitch strategy, RFPs and client consulting. Much of how I scope and run work today dates from those three years.
08 · 1999 – 2001
Webmaster, Gaz de France
Gaz de France · Full-time
Managed the corporate presence and built some of the first event-driven sites in France, including the Open Gaz de France tennis tournament. The live score display outperformed Roland-Garros' own. In 1999, refreshing scores in near real time on the public web was frontier work. That system is why McCann recruited me. It remains my favourite proof that the best CV is a thing that works in production.

UX and communication, Fininfo
Fininfo · Full-time · Nanterre
Product communication and UX for FinWin, a real-time order execution platform: traders who measured latency in blinks. I also contributed to the Fininfo corporate site, my first real introduction to web development. Real-time data, unforgiving users, zero tolerance for downtime. In hindsight, the perfect training for everything that followed.
AFK. I still train. I still like machines I can open. Linux, open source, small plugins for a desktop I run with agents, because I use agents all day. That is a hobby. Monday I am back on a brand.
